Workshop: Meeting the Challenge of Reducing Enteric CH4 Emissions from Sub-Saharan Africa
This workshop was held on June 5, 2022 at the conference on Greenhouse Gas & Animal Agriculture (GGAA) 2022, Orlando.
Speakers included:
At this interactive workshop, experts gathered to: 1) Discuss findings on emissions of local cattle and small ruminant breeds; 2) Explore different livestock systems scenarios for reducing enteric CH4 emissions; and 3) Highlight measures that would be most applicable to mitigate emissions while supporting and possibly improving livestock productivity.

This event, Symposium: Ensuring children’s cognitive and physical development through animal source foods, was held in Washington, D.C. on June 5, 2019.
Symposium Objectives:
Livestock researchers need to find high-quality scientific literature quickly, and this need has been repeatedly emphasized by the international researchers and stakeholders affiliated with the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Livestock Systems. Fortunately, specialized librarians from the University of Florida are here to help.
This webinar series is about conducting efficient and effective searches for scientific literature, using the most current and advanced online resources available in Africa and Asia. We encourage viewing by stakeholders of the Innovation Lab and especially by all research project Principal Investigators, their affiliated students, and librarians from our many partner institutions.
