Virtual General Meeting (VGM) 2020

This meeting coincided with the conclusion of Phase I, based on the five-year award from USAID, and the beginning of Phase II, a five-year extension phase starting on October 1, 2020. It was held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.

About the Meeting

The vision of the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Livestock Systems is to sustainably intensify smallholder livestock systems in order to improve human nutrition, health, and incomes. General meetings are held annually for the Principal Investigators (PIs), Co-PIs, members of the External Advisory Board (EAB), leaders of the Areas of Inquiry (AOI) and Cross Cutting Themes (CCT), as well as members of the Management Entity (ME).

Objectives

  • Identify and clearly articulate broader Phase I accomplishments
  • Share research findings and identify research gaps
  • Discuss lessons learned
  • Provide an outlook on Phase II
