The full manual is available here:
- Williams, R. J. 2019. Participatory Training for Adult Learners. Activities and Examples for Trainers
Dr. Rebecca J. Williams, from the University of Florida, is both the author of the manual and the narrator of the video.
Note from the Author to Trainers: This manual has been developed to assist trainers in developing training materials that are methodologically appropriate for adult learners. The activities presented in this manual are grounded in best practices for adult learning. Each of the activities in this manual is presented as a “generic” activity with the anticipation that it can be modified to fit the subject matter, content, and needs of the trainer. An example of each activity is given within a livestock system training context. This manual is not exhaustive of all possible training activities but rather is intended to be a work-in-progress.
