Symposium on improving human nutrition and incomes through effective livestock research and extension partnerships: Extending our reach

The Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Livestock Systems at the University of Florida is hosting this symposium in Kathmandu, Nepal on April 25 and 26, 2019. It will bring together ministers and key policy-makers, researchers, public and private sector extensionists, producer organizations, as well as university administrators, to discuss the global relevance of research-extension linkages for human nutrition and livestock. We will share promising examples of how collaboration/partnerships between researchers and various types of extension and advisory service providers can increase/increases the production and consumption of nutritious animal-source foods (ASF).

How to get there
Visa
Citizens from many countries can obtain the visa to enter Nepal upon arrival. Detailed information is available at: www.nepalimmigration.gov.np/page/visa-on-arrival
The cost is $25 for a stay of up to 15 days.
Note that citizens of several countries are required to apply for a visa prior to arrival in Nepal.
